USC’s First-Generation Center has launched the First-Generation Student Advisory Board (FG SAB) to amplify first-gen student voices and strengthen support on campus. Formed in December, the board elected leaders in January and established committees focused on community service, programming, and student engagement. Their mission: advocate for first-gen students, create leadership opportunities, and bridge the gap between students and First-Gen Center staff.
