Program Overview:
The William T. Grant Scholars Program supports career development for promising early-career researchers through five-year research and mentoring plans that expand expertise in new disciplines, methods, and content areas. The program is intended for applicants with a strong track record of high-quality research who are seeking to make a significant shift in their research trajectory. In addition to funding, the award provides a mentoring component and access to a supportive academic community.
The Foundation supports research in two focus areas: reducing inequality in youth outcomes and improving the use of research evidence in policy and practice. Proposed projects must align with one of these two areas. This limited submission opportunity is open to eligible USC faculty across all campuses whose work fits the program priorities.
