USC System Transfer

All transfer applicants must submit the following credentials:

Submit the USC system transfer application by the deadline for the term you would like to enroll at USC Columbia.
All USC system transfer applicants must submit a nonrefundable $25 application fee.
Admissions decisions can be determined based on unofficial transcripts. Upload any unofficial transcripts from institutions other than USC system campuses. You are not required to submit transcripts from any USC system campus.

Prior to enrolling in courses, you must submit official transcripts for any previous college courses taken through an institution other than one of the USC system campuses. This includes whether or not credit was earned for the course(s) and regardless of wanting to transfer any credit. An official transcript must be sent directly to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions from each institution.

Applicants with a Joint Services Transcript may receive up to six semester hours of credit toward the 30-hour requirement. Please note that coursework completed on a pass/fail basis or in remedial courses does not count toward the required 30 semester hours.
If you have completed fewer than 30 semester hours (or 45 quarter hours) of college-level coursework, you must meet both transfer and freshman admission requirements. In this case, an official high school transcript must be sent directly from the high school to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

System Transfer applicants must have at least a cumulative 2.00 USC grade point average on 30 completed credits. In addition, several colleges and programs within the university require higher grade point averages on all college work attempted and course completion with a specific grade. Be in good academic standing at all previously attended institutions.

Note: The deans of the university's colleges and schools ultimately determine which transfer courses are credited in their programs.
