Arts and Performance
The College of Arts and Sciences is a regional arts presence and we're proud of our place in the arts community in Columbia and beyond.
A central aspect of our mission is to engage the community and bring positive change through research and scholarship. Many of our resources are open to the public in an effort to further that mission. We encourage you to come see a show, lecture or exhibition, sign your children up for a summer program, or engage our students as volunteers, interns or even employees.
Our campus is in the middle of a thriving city, in a beautiful state. We hope our students will be part of those communities during their time here, and that you'll see our campus as a resource.

Many of our students welcome the opportunity to work and make connections in the community. Whether you decide to share your expertise with them by speaking on campus or you're looking for an intern, our students are ready to learn.
You don't have to be a student to love learning. Our public lectures and series give you an opportunity to learn from the best.
Various departments offer programs and classes for young people, during the school year and in the summer.
