Heart of a Nurse: Brandi Hair

Brandi Hair is a BSN and MSN alumna of the College of Nursing. She is a nurse at Lexington Medical Center in Labor and Delivery. Throughout her career she has displayed leadership and passion for nursing. Brandi's heart is made of resilience, patience, positivity, and empathy.

Critical Conversations

In 1963, black students were admitted to segregated colleges and universities in South Carolina for the first time since Reconstruction. Since then, many things have improved for minority groups, but there is still a large divide that separates African Americans from equality. The College of Nursing is committed to acknowledging these barriers and ensuring inclusion.
