The USC EdTech Symposium is a one-day event that brings together higher education professionals, industry partners, and students to explore innovation, technology and the future of teaching, learning, and campus operations.
The symposium will be held on November 4, 2026 at the Pastides Alumni Center in Columbia, South Carolina.
The event is designed for higher education IT professionals, faculty, instructional designers, administrators, students and industry partners interested in technology and innovation in higher education.

The Alumni Center patios, driveway, sidewalks, and surrounding green space are non-smoking areas. All forms of tobacco, cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, pipes, e-cigarettes, and vaping are prohibited.
Yes, the Pastides Alumni Center is accessible. The Alumni Center has one street-level entrance off Senate Street and three automatic ADA doors leading into the main lobby. A wheelchair ramp from the street level to the main entrance is located on Senate Street. Two guest elevators are located on all levels, and restroom entrances and doorways are wide for easy passage. The restrooms feature wider stall areas, handrails, automatic faucets, and hand-free towel dispensers. Fully accessible drinking fountains are available on the first and second floors. Special needs guests are welcome to bring trained service animals covered under the ADA into the Alumni Center. If you require accommodation, please indicate your needs during registration or contact the event team.
