Welcome to the South Carolina Research Administration Conference, an annual gathering dedicated to strengthening research administration across our state. This event fosters professional growth, builds a collaborative network of research administrators and unites us in our shared mission to elevate research together.

Inaugural South Carolina Research Administration Conference

The South Carolina Research Administration Conference is hosted by the University of South Carolina in collaboration with Clemson University, Claflin University and the College of Charleston through REACH-SC.

When: September 25-26, 2025

Where: Russell House, 1400 Greene Street, Columbia SC 29208

Parking: We recommend that you park in the Bull Street Garage. From the garage, follow the sidewalks that pass the Thomson Student Health Center. There will also be signs present to help you locate the Russell House.

Lodging: We have reserved 70 rooms at TRU Hotel (400 Gervais Street, Columbia, SC 29201) for the night of September 25, 2025. Participants may be eligible for REACH-SC travel reimbursement and should apply as soon as possible to ensure consideration.

The following three criteria are requirements for travel reimbursement.

  • You work in a research administration position at one of the following South Carolina colleges or universities: Allen University, Anderson University, Benedict College, Bob Jones University, Charleston Southern University, Claflin University, Clemson University, Clinton College, Coastal Carolina University, Coker University, College of Charleston, Columbia College, Columbia International University, Converse University, Erskine College, Francis Marion University, Furman University, Lander University, Medical University of South Carolina, Morris College, Newberry College, North Greenville University, Presbyterian College, South Carolina State University, Southern Wesleyan University, The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, University of South Carolina Aiken, University of South Carolina Beaufort, University of South Carolina Columbia, University of South Carolina Upstate, Voorhees University, Winthrop University, Wofford College
  • You will be driving 40 or more miles to attend the conference
  • You will be attending both days of the conference
