If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, our staff will help you reschedule your appointment for later that day or the following day.

If you are unable to make your appointment, please cancel on myhealthspace or call 803-777-3175, at least 2 hours prior to your appointment.

Health Insurance & Billing

Costs for access to primary care professionals are covered by the Student Health fee; however, students must upload their insurance card/information into MyHealthSpace. The health care fee also funds health promotion and violence prevention services provided by Healthy Carolina

  • Office procedures like toenail/skintag/mole removal and IVs & medications administered in the clinic are billed to your insurance; however, you are responsible for anything not covered by insurance.
  • Diagnostics support services (labs & X-rays) will be billed to your insurance. Unfortunately, many insurance companies have a deductible, and not all tests will be covered 100%; therefore, you may have an outstanding balance after insurance pays.

If you require a community-based provider for formal assessment or treatment of ADHD, the most efficient method to identify such a provider is through Thriving Campus. This digital platform helps locate community mental health professionals who offer ADHD evaluations and interventions.

Thriving Campus allows users to filter providers by specialization, geographic proximity, accepted insurance plans, and availability, enabling a tailored search to meet individual needs. For further assistance in identifying a suitable provider, don't hesitate to contact us at 803-777-5223.

This resource list does not imply a recommendation by USC. As a consumer, it is your responsibility to discuss details of services including:

  • Number of visits the evaluation may require
  • Estimated cost of the assessment
  • Whether or not the provider accepts insurance
  • How soon after the assessment the report will be made available
