Mr. Frontero has served at USC Sumter since 2021 as Instructor of English. Prior to his time here, Vincent served as Graduate Lecturer at West Viginia University in Morgantown where he earned his MFA in Creative Writing in 2021. He also holds a BA from the University of Alabama with a Major in English and a Minor in Creative Writing.  Mr. Frontero has taught course in Critical Reading/Composition, Rhetoric, Creative Writing, and Poetry.  He has taught our traditional students, those in our Dual Enrollment Program, as well as ESL intensive courses to help our international students be successful.

 

Apart from his teaching duties, Vincent is a widely published author with numerous original poems appearing in journals as well as many translations of Italian works in numerous Reviews.  He is a recipient of the Hugh T. Stoddard, Sr.  Outstanding Faculty Award and has received research grants to fund his scholarly agenda.
