Background

Wendi Du is an assistant professor of finance at the Darla Moore School of Business. She holds a Ph.D in Finance and a MS in Management from the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a MS in Finance from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Economics and Finance from Dalian University of Technology.

Du’s research interest is in FinTech, Innovation, AI in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Responsible and Sustainable Finance and is published in Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing (EMNLP). She most recently taught Finance and Investment while at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
