Research and Teaching Interests
Fanghui Shi is interested in improving healthcare quality and population health through data-driven, interdisciplinary research. She studies multilevel social, structural, and clinical determinants of health outcomes among people with HIV and other underserved populations, with the goal of generating evidence to inform prevention strategies and health promotion interventions. She has extensive experience working with statewide HIV surveillance systems, electronic health records, Medicaid claims, and national datasets such as the All of Us Research Program and BRFSS, positioning her well to contribute to population-level health services and prevention research.
