Adaptive Real-Time Systems Laboratory (ARTS-Lab)
| Description: | The Autonomous Real-Time Systems Laboratory (ARTS-Lab) is a controls group. We develop both theoretical and applied control methods, and we validate them on real hardware. Our applications include unmanned aircraft, electrified transportation, battery and naval power systems, additive manufacturing, and civil infrastructure. The sensing, estimation, edge computing, and machine learning work in the lab exists to serve that control objective: to close the loop on systems in real time under uncertainty. |
