We believe students can find themselves by leading others. With a number of in-house options, our students are able to hone their leadership skills while also giving back to the Capstone Scholars Program and the Columbia community as a whole.
From excursions with established Columbia volunteer organizations to trips out of town, this group of scholars is committed to bringing service opportunities to students in the Capstone Scholars Program. Come see how we have served others!
Capstone Scholars Leadership Program (CSLP) is an 8-week course designed with emerging leaders in mind, typically first and second year students. This course focuses on theories related to relational leadership and provides opportunities to apply them to one’s everyday life. Tyipcally this course is offered as University 290 (UNIV 290).
