Prague Maymester Program

How does access to information differ from one country or culture to another? This program will study information from a broad, international perspective giving the students a unique skill set when it comes to information literacy. Information literacy refers to many types of literacies including cultural, environmental, and technological. Students will have the opportunity to compare aspects of information literacy between the United States and the Czech Republic through cultural experiences and excursions in and around the ancient and modern city of Prague. This is an excellent opportunity for you to learn about information literacy and how it applies to your life while also experiencing the unique cultural and historical perspectives within Prague.
