Explore issues related to health, nature, and sustainability and the relationships between them by visiting three diverse locations in Costa Rica.
During this course you'll experience and learn about the factors and behaviors that contribute to health and wellness in a country that emphasizes the interconnectedness of the physical, natural, social, and community environments. You'll visit key historical and natural sites such as rainforests, waterfalls, and hot springs while participating in activities that promote physical and mental health like hiking, yoga, and surfing. You'll also engage with guest lectures, walking tours, and cultural experiences like dance, sustainable farming, and cooking classes.
