Rose Cisneros joined the communications team after working in publication and newsprint for six years. During her time as news editor at a weekly paper, she also designed, wrote and edited several yearly special publications, including the Lexington County newcomers guide. Rose now writes feature stories, web content and promotional copy in line with the McCausland College of Arts and Sciences’ mission and values. She enjoys telling stories that connect people from different backgrounds in a way that emphasizes the humanity in us all.

In her spare time, Rose roller skates along the Riverwalk trails or on her backyard mini ramp, enjoys reading romantasy fiction and starting new crafts or home-reno projects (which, more times than not, sit half-started scattered around her house). She also spends a lot of time enjoying the affection and chaos of her three cats.
