Bryan Gentry leads the communications team, overseeing strategic communications projects and managing media relations. With more than 15 years of experience in higher education communications and marketing, Bryan has managed name changes and rebrands, written and edited alumni magazines, and grown social media followings at several institutions. An admissions viewbook he wrote won the national Award for Excellence for Publication Writing from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. He loves storytelling, especially when it highlights the transformational journey of education. He also enjoys helping faculty share the impact and importance of their research. 

In his spare time, Bryan enjoys playing music, running, biking, reading and writing YA fiction, and drawing. As a master of the pun, he makes up jokes that his three kids think are hilarious.
