SJMC Centennial Gala — Dance through the Decades
Commemorating 100 Years! The SJMC Centennial Gala was truly a night to be remembered. Alumni and guests mingled and danced the night away in the spirit of celebration.

Centennial Student Celebration
A student-led event for students to celebrate the school’s centennial was held on the lawn between the SJMC/Kennedy Greenhouse Studio. There was food, lawn games, swag and a DJ.

Homecoming Kickoff Celebration Photos
Alumni and friends stopped by Cockaboose 14 to celebrate 100 years of J-school education with Cocky, the Carolina Band and to pick up free centennial rally towels and koozies.
The centennial offered us an opportunity to reflect on the accomplishments of our alumni, our students and our faculty. The school has provided unparalleled journalism education for 100 years and will continue to do so for 100 years to come.
