Vision
To create a culture of innovation where technology, creativity, and human-centered medicine converge, preparing learners to lead the future of healthcare through discovery, collaboration, and compassionate care.
Transforming Learning Through Apple Technology
Medical students at the School of Medicine Greenville are each provided an iPad — complete with AppleCare+ protection, ensuring students will have a working iPad for the full four years of medical school. In addition, faculty are provided an iPad and a MacBook. Other technology is also used in conjunction with our iPads to enhace the mobility and functionality of these innovative healthcare technologies across our campus, including the Butterfly iQ ultrasound probe and the Echo Revolve Microscope. Thoughtful integration of technology in the classroom elevates our students' clinical educational experience.
Across classrooms, simulation centers, clinical settings, and community-based learning experiences, technology supports active engagement, collaboration, and personalized learning. By integrating Apple technology into the curriculum, faculty can facilitate interactive learning, provide real-time feedback, enhance communication, and empower students to create, analyze, and apply knowledge in meaningful ways.
This commitment to innovation enables students to develop the critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and digital fluency necessary to deliver exceptional patient care and lead the future of medicine.
