A native of South Carolina, Jennifer earned her B.A. in communication and theatre-performance from the College of Charleston and M.Ed. in higher education and student affairs from the University of South Carolina. Throughout her professional journey, Jennifer has been connected to the intersection of student success and university storytelling.

Prior to joining the Honors College, Jennifer held communications, orientation and family engagement roles at both USC and UNC–Chapel Hill. Most recently, she oversaw family and supporter programs and communication for the new student and family programs office at UNC. Before that, she worked in the Office of New Student Orientation at USC, managing orientation programs for special populations such as the Honors College, engaging campus and community partners, and overseeing marketing and communications.

Outside of work, Jennifer loves any opportunity to cheer on Gamecock Women's Basketball, flex her baking skills and try out a new lunch or dinner spot.
