Kevin has worked in higher education since 2009, supporting college students through a variety of student affairs and academic services roles. As a first-generation college graduate, he is passionate about student success and believes in the transformative power of higher education, mentorship and experiential learning to help students achieve their personal and professional goals.

Originally from Hendersonville, North Carolina, Kevin has lived throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, Washington and Mexico before relocating to Columbia in 2017. His professional experiences, coupled with his international studies, have shaped his appreciation for diverse perspectives and student engagement.

Outside of work, Kevin enjoys spending time on the Saluda River with his labradoodle, Brooklyn, tackling home renovation projects with his partner, riding his motorcycle on sunny South Carolina days and managing his real estate investment portfolio through his LLC. He also serves as treasurer of his homeowner's association, enjoys being an amateur mechanic and is always eager to take on his next hands-on project.
