Asheley earned her bachelor of arts in English from New Mexico State University and her master of education in higher education and student affairs from the University of South Carolina. Post graduation, Asheley had the pleasure of staying at USC in the Student Success Center before moving to the Office of Undergraduate Research. Most recently, before joining the Honors College, Asheley served as the director of student success and retention at the University of South Carolina-Lancaster.

Throughout her career, Asheley’s love of students has remained her north star. She is passionate about creating programs and opportunities that positively and meaningfully impact student’s academic careers. She is excited to be a part of the Honors College team.

In her spare time, Asheley loves to hike, meditate, read, craft and spend time with her husband and dogs.
